Our Emeryville “shed” is an industrial workshop where we nurture an individual’s natural beauty and cultivate transformative looks so that our client’s appearance reflects their inner brilliance. Meet Lisa
Salon owner and lead stylist, Lisa Harvie Hellam, found her calling at a young age out of a entrepreneurial drive and desire to create something. Lisa is creative, hands-on, and believes in continually improving her salon and her craft. Lisa's clients come to the salon from all across the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Many of them have been enthusiastic supporters and loyal clients for over 10 years.

SHED stylists have years of industry experience and receive ongoing professional training to ensure consistency of service. We hand select professional grade products that we know our clients will enjoy using. We ensure every client has the right products to fit their lifestyle and hair type. No product responds the same way for every hair type, but our expert advice can help you select the perfect one. Lisa Hellam is the right fit! Finally! She LISTENS, doesn’t decide to just do the opposite of what you ask for and is technically brilliant. She makes great recommendations, knows how to style the hair after it has been cut and is incredibly pleasant to chat with while she works.
